That's right! Hadley is going to be a big sister! Chris and I are the parents of 2 children! After taking the test and finding it unexpectedly positive, I wrote the following note so I could remember the day clearly:
I am in complete shock right now! Chris and I are going to have another baby!! About one hour ago I took a pregnancy test in the bathroom at WORK. Ugh. I had no other option. I have a dentist appointment today and was wondering if I could get the dental work done if I was pregnant. I'm on day 32, but no real signs of pregnancy that I can tell. Well, until I got the BFP :D There were no tests at home and the Dollar Tree was closed, so I went to the Target by work. I kept thinking that I didn't want to take a test this way. I wanted to be with Chris. I wanted to share the potential joy with him if it was a positive. But, there was no way to work that out. Besides, I didn't really think I was pregnant anyway... lol! So, different baby, different story! Baby G #2 will hear about me testing in the work bathroom, calling Daddy on the phone, and the doctors saying, "Congratulations! Didn't it take you a year and a half last time?"
Well, Chris and I are both very excited, but mostly shocked at this point. How awesome is it that we get another blessing from God!
Now, time to get serious about what I need to avoid and what I need to be more disciplined about - taking my vitamin (which I have been off and on), and exercising.... I've forgotten everything since Hadley!

Today I am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Very early. Here's what's going on with Baby G during week 4:
Your baby will be implanting furiously during pregnancy week 4 into the uterine lining, to ensure that she has a safe and secure home for the next nine months. Fetal development by and large is still in the earliest stages at this point in time. By now the blastocyst or ball of cells that is your baby will be imbedding deeper and deeper into the lining of the uterus. The amniotic cavity is forming and the placenta is starting to form.
